Lieutenant James J Ferris III was a Fighter Pilot during WWII who flew 70 European missions before being killed on a Postwar Flying Mission in England on June 19, 1945. He flew a P-51 Mustang with the 368th Fighter Squadron / 359th Fighter Group of the 8th Air Force. The story of his life during his service to his country is told through the letters and newspaper articles his mother collected and saved in a scrapbook. The scrapbook reveals the story of an idyllic young man who loved God, Family and his Country. This book is a recreation of the scrapbook that tells his story.
